FLORIDA BAR PRESIDENT-ELECT MICHELLE SUSKAUER was keynote speaker for a January 8 meeting of the Women’s Caucus of the Florida Legislature. A day before the start of the 2018 session, Suskauer, seventh from the left, urged the approximately 15 women assembled in a Tallahassee bed and breakfast living room to capitalize on the “#MeToo” moment in history when sexual misconduct from Hollywood to Tallahassee has cast a harsh spotlight on gender-based discrimination. “If we can’t make real change now, I don’t know when the time is,” Suskauer said.
